Designed by Lawrence Hughes,
Robert Muir Graves. This was a nine-hole course
expanded into an 18-hole course in the mid-'80s. You
will find danger in the form of lateral hazards on
15 holes. The greens demand a steady hand, and wind
can be a factor. The front nine is fairly level,
with narrow fairways, while the back nine is hilly
and a little more forgiving off the tee. Reciprocal
play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From
San Francisco (about 30 miles north to the course):
Drive north on US 101 to Novato. Take the Ignacio
Boulevard exit west for approximately one and
one-half miles. Turn left on Country Club Drive.

Designed by
William P. Bell. There is an 18-hole championship
golf course and a nine-hole pitchand-putt golf
course. The championship course is set in a valley
and is friendly for most skill levels. The fairly
large greens require a good touch on long putts. All
guests must be accompanied by military personnel.
The yardage listed is for the 18-hole championship
golf course. From San Diego (about 46 miles north to
the course): Take I-5 north for about 40 miles. Then
take Highway 76 east for three and one-half miles.
Turn left on Douglas Drive. Turn right on North
River Road and drive to the Camp Pendleton gate.
Follow the signs to the course.
