Designed by Tom
Nicholl, J. Michael Poellet (remodel). Noted as one
of the country's most expensive
clubs
to join,
the newly
renovated course is interesting with lots of hills,
narrow fairways, and challenging green sites.
Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is
allowed. LPG A Hall of
Fame player Juli Inkster's husband has been the
long-time pro here.
From San Jose (about 15 miles northwest to the
course): Take
I-280
north. Exit on Foothill Expressway
and turn right. Take the Loyola Corners/Fremont
Avenue exit and immediately take the first two
lefts.

Designed by unknown. With its relatively short
yardage, honest fairways and super-sized greens,
this is a popular course with the seniors. The back
nine features water on four holes. From downtown
Los Angeles (about 20 miles southeast to the
course): Take the Harbor Freeway (I-110) south to
the Imperial Freeway (I-105) east. Exit onto Old
River School Road and turn left. Make another left
on Quill Drive.
