Designed by Bob
Baldock, John Harbottle. Hang on there, partner;
Lone Tree is just the name of the course. Chances
are if you miss with your driver, you will hit
several trees. Because of an abundance of slope,
club selection can be tricky. The greens run average
to small in size. Despite the hills, this layout is
extremely walk-able because of good placement of
tees and greens. From Walnut Creek (about 20 miles
northeast to the course): Go north on I-680. Take
Highway 242 east to Highway 4 and drive east. Exit
on Lone Tree Way and turn right. Turn right on Golf
Course Road. For the price, it's well maintained
and a good choice if you are in the area.

Polvadero. From within Coalinga: Off I-5, take the
Jayne Avenue exit and head west to Sutter Avenue.
