Designed by Billy Casper, Greg Nash. Break out
your oversized, graphite-shafted, titanium-headed
driver and let it rip. This is an open,
well-conditioned layout with liberal fairways and
large undulating greens. There are homes on the
course, but they come into play on a couple of
holes. Beware of trouble lurking out of sight, off
the tee boxes, on several holes on the back
nine. A cart is included in the green fees. From
Sacramento (about 30 miles northeast to the course):
Go east on I-80 to Highway 65 north. Go nine miles
to Sterling Parkway and head east. Turn right into
Sun City Lincoln Hills and follow the signs to the
course. This is a fun course at a reasonable price
that doesn't punish golfers for every bad shot.
