Designed by William F. Bell, Robert Muir Graves. Lake Wildwood is a straightforward course where most of the greens can be seen from the tee box. The green sites are fairly large and offer players many different ways to approach them. Most of the fairways are comfortable in width and are rolling, although the back nine does become hilly. Water will affect play on about one-third of the holes. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Marysville (about 27 miles east to the course): Drive east on Highway 20. Follow Highway 20 about 27 miles. Turn left on Pleasant Valley Road and then right onto Cottontail Way.

Designed by Ted Robinson, South Course. There are plenty of lakes on all three Lakes courses. The North and East Courses are lined with condominiums, and the water comes into play mostly on the front of the greens. The South Course is the longest course and features abundant landing areas. All the courses have fairly big, undulating greens. The yardage listed is for the South/North combination. From downtown Los Angeles (about 130 miles east to the course): Take the I-10 east, exit Cook Street, and turn right. Turn left on Country Club Drive and then a quick right on Lakes. The entrance is on the right.
