Designed by William Locke, Robert Muir Graves, Rees Jones (renovation). This long, undulating course is quietly one of Northern California's best and prettiest park-setting venues. Always a respected tournament site, it has been recently renovated, making play more difficult. William Locke designed the course originally. Robert Muir Graves redesigned and re-routed the course in 1964. Rees Jones renovated the course in 1996. From San Francisco (about ten miles south to the course): Take I-280 south. Exit at Westlake District/Daly City. Go straight. The club is on the right.

Designed by unknown. With the lake on one side and houses on the other, this is a narrow course with lots of out-of-bounds. This hilly layout makes its way around the lake, with no parallel holes. Accuracy is crucial to scoring well. Ignore the distance on the scorecard; this course can put up a fight. Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is allowed. From Sacramento: Drive east on I-80 to Highway 49 north. Exit Combie Road, headed east. Turn right and drive to lakeshore North. Take another right on lakeshore North.
