Designed by David Rainville, Harry Rainville. There are three separate nines with pars of 34, 35, and 36. The hardest of the three is the short par 34, which features elevated greens and lots of trees. Right-handed golfers who slice will find themselves punching out of trees all day long. The yardage listed is for the Course 1 & 2 combo. From within Irvine (about 12 miles south to the course): Off the San Diego Freeway (I-405) south, exit on Irvine Center Drive and head south. This turns into Moulton Parkway. Turn left into Leisure World Gate 12 to the course.

Designed by Tom Weiskopf. Mountain and meadow vistas, along with constant elevation changes, characterize Lahontan. The course has a superb flow of memorable holes taking advantage of the spectacular woods. All of the above make this course the best one in the Reno-Lake Tahoe area. From within Truckee: Off I-80, go south on Highway 267. Turn right on Schaffer Mill Road. The course is on the left. Simply stated, the finest golf course experience in the golf-rich greater Reno/Tahoe area.
