Designed by George Buzzini, Brian Ash. This is a par-62 course with one par 5 built on open flat terrain. The key to success is putting the tricky greens, many of which fall sharply. From Modesto (about ten miles north to the course): Take Highway 99 north, exit Jack Tone Road, and head west. The road dead-ends in the parking lot. While the course is a bit rough around the edges with uneven tees and lacking ball washers and drinking water, you will likely enjoy the friendly, low-key atmosphere fostered by the owners, the Buzzini Family.

Designed by Bob Baldock. Although there are plenty of trees and some rough, the fairways are spacious and the greens large. The challenge from Fresno West comes from wind and water. The water comes into play both off the tee and around the greens. From Fresno (about 30 miles west to the course): Off Highway 99, take Highway 180 west past Kerman. The golf course is on the right. The price is right, but I would gladly pay a few extra dollars for better conditions.
