Designed by William F. Bell. Just keep it in the fairway and you will be OK. It's one of the few courses nowadays where you don't need a degree in geometry to figure it out. The only trouble you will find on this layout is if you are wild off the tee. They keep a spare hole available to use during maintenance. Part of an adult community and with carts mandatory, you might want to tune into the local radio station for traffic updates. From downtown Los Angeles (about 115 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit on Monterey, and go over the freeway. Turn right on Varner Road.
