Designed by Clive Clark I Perry Dye, Pete Dye.
The Hideaway boasts an 18-hole Pete Dye layout that
has been thoughtfully modified by son, Perry. He
enhanced the visual aspect, raising many tees,
framing greens, and also eliminating several unfair
pot bunkers. The Clive Clark-designed course
provides a second very palatable venue, with
striking looks similar to a Tom Fazio design. Not
only is reciprocal play not accepted but membership
is by invitation only. The yardage listed is for the
Clark Clive Course. From Los Angeles (about 130
miles east to the course): Take I-10 toward Palm
Springs and exit and bear right on Washington
Street. Take Washington Street to Avenue 52 and turn
left. At the roundabout, bear right on Jefferson
Street. The entrance to the Hideaway is midway
between Avenues 52 and 54. Many upscale resorts and
private clubs can spell "customer service." The
Hideaway defines it. Simply the best service and a
most attractive golf offering.

Designed by Billy Casper, Greg
Nash. Although the course accommodates the senior
population with wide fairways and large greens, the
undulating and tricky greens will challenge even the
low handicapper. Locals know to always play the
break to move toward the Las Vegas Strip. The course
makes its way around a housing development, giving
it a links feel. Carts are rewebsite: uired and
included in your green fees. From the Las Vegas
Airport (about 22 miles northwest to the course):
Take I-215 west to the last exit (until they build
I-215 out farther), which is Summerlin Parkway, and
turn right. Turn left on Anasazi. The club is on the
right. past Lake Mead Boulevard.
