Designed by William F. Bell. This is a night-lit course with little out-of-bounds and nice greens. For the good golfer, your greatest challenge maybe trying to pick up the flight of the ball at night. Tiger Woods was a past member of the Heartwell junior golf program. From west Los Angeles (about 30 miles southeast to the course): Take the San Diego Freeway (I-405) south. Exit at Palo Verde and head north. Turn right on Carson to the course.

Set against a rugged landscape with elevation changes, the Hemet Golf Club is a playable layout with few trees, sloping, super-sized greens, and water on one-third of the holes. From Los Angeles (about 90 miles to the course): Take Hwy. 60 east to I-215 south. Follow I-215 south to Hwy. 74 and head east. Head north on California Street to Devonshire. Make a left to the course.
