Designed by Francis Duane, Arthur Hills (Ocean),
Arnold Palmer (Old). The two courses at Half Moon
Bay are the Old Course and the Ocean Course. The Old
Course plays among the pines and homes before
heading to the Pacific for a dramatic three-hole
finish. The Ocean Course is a wonderfully crafted
links-style course with excellent views of the
ocean. With the wind, this course will put up
website: uite a fight. The yardage listed is
for the Ocean Course. Carts are included in green
fees, but walking is permitted on the Ocean Course.
From San Francisco (about 25 miles south to the
course): Take I-280 or US 101 south to Highway 92
west. Turn left at Highway I south. The entrance is
approximately two and one-half miles south on the
right. Another option is to take Highway I down from
San Francisco. For the golf enthusiast the Ocean
Course is a must-play.
