Designed by Ben Harmon. Homes line the course, so you can find out-of-bounds on nearly every hole. The good news is the fairways are fairly wide and water is nowhere to be found. From with­in Willows: Off I-5, just north of the town of Willows, take the Blue Gum Road/County Road 39 exit. Head west to the course.

Designed by unknown. With several holes under 100 yards, this course is a good place to learn the game or perfect your short-iron game. From Pasadena (about 19 miles east to the course): Take the Foothill Freeway (I-210) east, exit on Grand and head south on Grand. Turn left on Dawson Avenue. The range is on the right, but parking is on the left.
