Designed by Pete Dye. This golf center boasts a
busy practice range and a nine-hole layout built on
flat terrain between wetlands. Constructed on
limited acreage, the fairways narrowly twist among
environmental wetlands. Thus, it is imperative to be
accurate here or you will shoot a million. The
greens also have some challenging undulations. From
Oakland: Take I-880 south to Stevenson Blvd. exit.
Take Stevenson Blvd. east to Stevenson Place and
make a right to the golf course. This little track
is easily challenging enough to embarrass a scratch
player and downright difficult when the wind picks
up. The negative point is that it's perhaps a little
too tight and narrow for the beginner or average
player.

Designed by Lloyd Zastre. This is a long,
nine-hole golf course with plenty of water. The
course makes its way around the RV park.
Out-of-bounds comes into play on four holes. The
greens are on the small side and range from flat to
sloping. For a real challenge, try the perfectly
carpeted 18-hole putting course. Check their website
for RV special rates. From Stockton (about 13 miles
south to the course): Drive south on Highway 99. The
course is at the intersection of Highway 99 and
French Camp Road. If you reach the town of Manteca,
you have gone too far. For the RV set, this is a
must-play-and-stay. Or in this case play and
recreate.
