Designed by David Kent. Tricky greens, Kikuyu grass,
lots of trees and bunkers are the challenge for this
respected course. Wind, especially EI Niguel winds
around the canyon floors, can be a factor. From
Irvine (about 16 miles south to the course): Take
the San Diego Freeway (I-405) south to I-5 south and
exit at Crown Valley Parkway. Drive west about five
miles to Clubhouse Drive and turn left. The club is
on the right.

The Butterfield Stage Course is much more patient
with the erratic golfer. It has more water than the
Chino Creek Course, but is not as long and more
forgiving. The Chino Creek Course is the more
challenging of the two layouts. The course
rewebsite: uires accuracy off the tee, due to
numerous trees, a creek, and out-of-bounds. The
yardage listed is for the Chino Creek Course. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 37 miles east to the
course): Take the Pomona Freeway (Highway 60) east
to Highway 71 south. Exit on Euclid and turn left.
Turn left again on Pine Avenue. Resist the
temptation to take the Pine exit. Trust us.
