Public: 18
hole -cost:
$17 - $34
2400 Studebaker Road, long Beach, CA 90815
Tel: (562) 430-5411
Designed by unknown. This is a popular (busy)
mature parkland-style course with narrow fairways on
the front nine and water coming into play on several
holes. The course is home to the Long Beach Open.
For the amount of play, the course is consistently
in good condition. From west Los Angeles (about 30
miles southeast to the course): Take the San Diego
Freeway (I-405) south. Exit at Studebaker Road and
head north to the course. It is less than a mile
from the freeway on the right. Tired of the
significant other harping on you about playing too
much golf? With fivesomes allowed on EI Dorado Park
on weekends, play can be so slow you might as well
tell her/him that you are going camping instead.

Designed by Bob Baldock,
Robert Muir Graves. This flat, long course is made
interesting by its wooded fairway corridors, which
demand a good driving game. Reciprocal play with
other members-only clubs is allowed. From Sacramento
(about 12 miles west to the course): Take I-80 west
to Mace Boulevard. Exit on Mace Boulevard and head
south. Turn left at the blinking light, after
crossing over the freeway. Go right at the Y in the
road. Turn right on Clubhouse Drive.
