Designed by Ted Robinson. Eastlake is a
relatively short rolling residential course whose
small multi-terraced greens make scoring a bit
tougher than you might image. From San Diego (about
15 miles south to the course): Take I-805 south,
exit on Telegraph Canyon Road, and head east about
six miles. Turn right on Eastlake Parkway and take
the second left on Clubhouse Drive. The clubhouse is
on the left. In the scheme of things, Eastlake is a
pretty average San Diego area layout dominated by
housing and its trademark Ted Robinson-designed
water features.

Designed by William F. Bell. The course heads
downhill for the first two holes, then works its way
back up the hill to the clubhouse. Tree-lined with
lateral water hazards on two holes, Eaton Canyon
requires accuracy around and on the greens. The
greens tend to break away from the mountain. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 17 miles northeast to
the course): Take the Pasadena Freeway (I-110) north
to I-210 east. Exit at Madre and head north one
mile. Turn right on Sierra Madre Villa Avenue. There
are signs.
