Designed by William Bell. This is a reasonably
priced course that will allow you to use every club
in your bag. Diamond Bar features generous, yet
tree-lined, fairways. For the really erratic and
long hitter who misses the fairways and clears the
trees, a nearby freeway can be a factor. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 28 miles east to the
course): Take the Pomona Freeway (Highway 60) east.
Exit on Grand and head south. Turn left on Golden
Springs Drive, and the course is on the left.

Designed by Richard Walpohl,
Dave Tanner (new nine). This is a tree-lined golf
course set among ponderosa pines. The front nine is
slightly more open with two creeks and a lake that
coming into play. The newer back nine, set at the
base of Diamond Mountain is narrower, where a driver
may not always be the best option. The greens are
slick and subtle. From Reno (about 90 miles
northwest to the course): Drive north on US 395.
Right before Susanville, turn left on Richmond Road.
Go four to five miles and turn left on Wingfield
Road, to the course. A new nine holes, clubhouse,
all for the price of what you would pay for a two
large buckets at a high-end course. This is what
golf is meant to be.
