Designed by Joe Lee, Dick Wilson. Desert Rose is a friendly course with mature palm trees, crowned greens, and water. There is nothing deceiving about the layout; hit the ball well, score well. From the Strip (about 12 miles northeast to the course): Go east on Sahara. After crossing Nellis, take the third right onto Winterwood. Follow Winterwood to the course.

Designed by Greg Nash, Billy Casper. This is an open desert course with medium-sized, flat greens and executive in length. Desert Willow is located in Sun City at MacDonald Ranch, an age-restricted community. From the Las Vegas Airport (about 11 miles southeast to the course): Take I-215 east, exit on Green Valley Parkway, and turn right. At the end of the road, turn left on Horizon Ridge Parkway.
