Designed by Perry Dye. Fashioned after a classic layout you might find in the Carolinas, this desert course features fairways dotted with maturing pines, large lakes, manicured flower beds, and white sand. Carts are included and mandatory. From the Las Vegas Airport (about ten miles north to the course): Take I-15 north to US 95 south. Take the Eastern exit and go left on Eastern. Turn right on Bonanza. The club is on the right. From the back tees, it ain't that easy.

Designed by David Rainville. There are three courses, the Cielo, Lagos, and Vista. The Cielo and Lagos courses are very similar, winding through condominiums, with water coming into play on 15 of the 18 holes. The Vista Course is a more wide-open, links-style course. The greens on all the courses are very large and undulating. They tend to break toward Indio. Putting will be the key to a low score. The yardage listed is for the Cielo/Vista Courses. Carts are included in the green fees. Guests of the 285-room resort can expect a $20 to $30 break for prime time green fees. From downtown Los Angeles (about 115 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east, exit at Date Palm Drive, and head south. Turn right on Vista Chino and then left on Landau Boulevard.
