Designed by William F. Bell. Long and pretty,
this is an open, sloping course with lots of trees.
Besides the length, the biggest challenge may come
from the greens, which are difficult to read. When
in doubt, play the breaks toward Palmdale. From Los
Angeles (about 80 miles northeast to the course):
Take I-5 north to Highway 14 toward Lancaster. Take
Highway 138 (Pearlblossom Highway). Stay on Highway
138 past Pearlblossom. Turn right on 165th Street
and then right again on Crystalaire. Turn right on
Boca Raton Avenue to the club.

Designed by Perry Dye. Cone-shaped mounds, nine
lakes, and clusters of eucalyptus trees make for a
formidable course. Cypress is scenic and
imaginatively located on a very small piece
property. Green fees include your cart. From
downtown Los Angeles (about 23 miles south to the
course): Take I-5 south to
I-605
south. Exit on Katella Avenue and head east to the club.
Yard for yard this may be the toughest course in
Southern California as it is all crammed into a
small area. The last few holes can destroy a good
round.
