Designed by Ted Robinson. This sporty private
course is always busy and plays among condominiums
and homes, up and down hills. Because it is
relatively short, you should be able to score well
here, provided you can keep the ball in play.
Reciprocal play with other members-only clubs is
allowed. From Walnut Creek (about ten miles south to
the course): Take I-680 south. Exit on Crow Canyon
Road and turn left. Turn left on Tahiti. The club is
on the right.

Designed by Herbert Fowler. The course is part
of a federal reserve, and the holes range from flat
to steep. For the most part, the course is
revealing, with no hidden tricks. However, local
knowledge is key, and you will encounter some
side-hill lies, even if you hit the fairways. The
greens are small and traditional. Crystal Springs
has been designated as a certified Audubon
cooperative sanctuary by the Audubon International
Society. From San Francisco (about 16 miles south to
the course): Take I-280 south. Exit on Black
Mountain Road. Turn right, heading west to the stop
sign. Turn right on Golf Course Drive. The views of
the adjoining reservoir are even better than the
golf course.
