Designed by
John Fought. The mountains provide an excellent
backdrop for both the Short Course and the long
Course. Both layouts are similar in design,
combining desert golf with European-like
characteristics. You will find strategically placed
sod-wall bunkers, mounding, and expansive greens
with subtle undulations. The yardage listed is for
the long Course. Cimarron received a four-star
rating from Golf Digest, Places to Play in 2002.
Green fees include carts.
From downtown Los Angeles
(about
115 miles east to the course): Take I-10 east and
exit on Date Palm Drive. Head south and turn
right on 30th Avenue. It will
dead-end at the club.
If you can score well on the
Short Course, you can score well anywhere. The is
one of the best executive courses in America.
