Designed by Johnny Miller. This is Johnny Miller's first golf course designed in California, and maybe one of his most tame. That doesn't mean it isn't challenging. The course features plenty of native oaks and creeks to keep you honest off the tee. The greens vary in size, but all are undulat­ing and require a soft touch. You can find web specials on their website. Carts are mandatory. From Fresno (about 25 miles north to the course): Take Highway 41 north to the Friant off-ramp. Go north on Friant, and the club is just past town. Since Johnny Miller cannot make putts, he created a course where no one else could either.

Designed by Jack Kirby, Wes Kirby. The course is open, yet tree-lined with a couple of lakes. From within EI Centro: Off I-8, exit at Fourth Street and head south. Turn left on Wake Avenue and go until it ends.
