Designed by Mac MacDonald (championship course), Ron Fream (executive course). This is your typical older municipal course with flat greens and fairways outlined by mature trees. There is an 18-hole Championship Course and a nine-hole Executive Course. From within Sacramento: Off I-5, exit at Florin Road and head east. Turn left on Freeport Boulevard. The course is on the right. This is one of the few courses that offer separate tee boxes for juniors. We hope more people take up this cause.

Designed by Harry Rainville, David Rainville. This is a miniature championship course with tree­lined fairways and plenty of sand and water. The greens are usually in fair shape. Most of the out­of-bounds can be found along the left side of the fairway. From Anaheim (about six miles north to the course): Take Highway 57 north. Exit on Imperial Highway and turn right. Turn left on Associated and right on Birch Street.
