Designed by Casey O'Callaghan, Tom Lehman. Built in Orange County on 240 acres, the course is surrounded by open space. Arroyo Trabuco has an old-world feel that uses the natural surroundings {Trabuco Creek. native oaks and grasses) to create an attractive layout. The fairways are wide. the greens are large and subtle, but that doesn't make Arroyo Trabuco a pushover. Trouble awaits the player who misses the greens. Collection areas. bunkers. water. and interesting lies are what the inaccurate player has to look forward too. Did we mention the wind? From Los Angeles (about 51 miles to the course): Take I-5 South toward Santa Ana. Stay on I-5 to the Avery Parkway exit. Turn left onto Avery Parkway to the course. A fun track at a reasonable price, surrounded by open space. makes Arroyo Trabuco a force to be reckoned with in the Orange County golf scene.
