Designed by William H. Johnson. This is a tight,
par-3 course surrounded by trees, Players usually
hit off mats, but overall conditioning is better
than average. The course is great for beginners and
those wanting to improve their short game. The
course and driving range have lights for night play.
From downtown Los Angeles (about ten miles northeast to
the course): Take the Pasadena Freeway (I-110)
north. Turn right on Orange Grove, then right again
on Mission. Stay in the right lane and continue
straight. This leads right to the course.

Designed by Casey O'Callaghan, Tom Lehman. Built
in Orange County on 240 acres, the course is
surrounded by open space. Arroyo Trabuco has an
old-world feel that uses the natural surroundings
{Trabuco Creek. native oaks and grasses) to create
an attractive layout. The fairways are wide. the
greens are large and subtle, but that doesn't make
Arroyo Trabuco a pushover. Trouble awaits the player
who misses the greens. Collection areas. bunkers.
water. and interesting lies are what the inaccurate
player has to look forward too. Did we mention the
wind? From Los Angeles (about 51 miles to the
course): Take I-5 South toward Santa Ana. Stay on
I-5 to the Avery Parkway exit. Turn left onto Avery
Parkway to the course. A fun track at a reasonable
price, surrounded by open space. makes Arroyo
Trabuco a force to be reckoned with in the Orange
County golf scene.
