Designed by Local Membership. Rolling hills, tight tree-lined fairways, and elevated greens are the trademark of Arbuckle. From Sacramento (about 50 miles northwest to the course): Take I­5 north for about 45 minutes to Arbuckle. Take the Arbuckle exit. Turn left (west) on Hillgate Road, and drive about five and one-half miles. The course is on the left.

Designed by unknown. This is an 18-hole night-lit golf course, where players hit off mats. The longest hole is 153 yards. With no sand or water to contend with, this is a good place for beginners to learn the game. From downtown Los Angeles (about 19 miles northeast to the course): Take the Pasadena Freeway (I-110) north to I-210 east. Exit on Santa Anita and turn right. Turn left on Live Oak Avenue; the course is on the right.
