Golfer tee
off from tee box to start the game for each hole until
fish all the 18 holes.
Tee
box is the only place golfer is allowed to setting the
ball on a tee. The flat, closely cut grassy area and the
use of a tee allow for the easiest shot in getting off
to a good start on any given hole.
There
are several tee boxes differential by the color on each
hole positioned at different distances from the green
for players of different proficiency levels to be
appropriately challenged. Typically the different tee
boxes are referred to as "Red Tee" (for ladies) located
nearest to the green and follow by "White Tee" (for
beginner or seniors) and "Blue Tee" (for men), finally
"Black Tee" for championship.

Fairway is the preferable place to
land the golf ball to provide a easier shot before
approaching the putting green.
Golf
fairway joined the tee box and putting green together at the
opposite end of the each hole. Fairway typically 30 to 70 yards wide
and extends in length from 60 yards to 600 yards. Although the
fairway is not cut quite closely as the tee box but it still cut
close enough to provide for a good lie; in other words, it
allowed the golf ball sitting up nicely on top of the grass. Good
lies allow for easier shots, making the fairway the preferred target
from the tee box. Both sides of the fairway normally surrounding
with longer grass and may contain trees, bushes and any other
un-groomed areas or obstacles called "rough". Other than
fairway and rough, you golf ball may end up in other natural hazards
such as ponds, lakes, bunker, drain, uphill, downhill etc...
Putting green is the place to end the
game for each hole by putt the golf ball into the hole.
Putting
greens are the most closely cut, smoothest areas on the golf course,
vary in shape
and can be flat or rolling. Green are composed of
special grasses such as bent grass in cooler climates or Bermuda in
hotter climates. Greens are normally surrounded by sand bunkers,
rough or pond.
